<p>Not only will California&#8217;s Great America debut the west coast&#8217;s first single rail roller coaster, RailBlazer, later this year, they also are running a new event for the park. On the second and third weekend of operation, the 2018 California&#8217;s Great America Backyard Bands &#038; BBQ will combine local musicians with some new barbecue specialty menu items.</p>
<p>Backyard Bands &#038; BBQ takes place March 31-April 1 and April 7-8, 2018. Guests can enjoy this new signature event with paid admission to the park. Food and beverage are an additional charge and not included on the <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/2018-californias-great-america-dining-plans/">2018 California&#8217;s Great America dining plans</a>.</p>
