<p>Via <a href="http://web.archive.org/web/20150813233307/http://www.valleyfairzone.com/" target="_blank">Valleyfair Zone</a>, the park will be having a Pig Roast on Saturday, September 13, 2014. This is the first year for the event and details are still coming in, but here is what we do know.</p>
<p>The event will take place at the front of the park at the Midway stage.</p>
<p>The park will be slow roasting a few pigs and selling pulled pork platters and sandwiches along with typical sides. </p>
<p><strong>Platter $9.99</strong><br />
1/3 Lb of Meat<br />
2 Sides: BBQ Beans and Coleslaw<br />
Watermelon wedge<br />
A dinner roll</p>
<p><strong>Pork Sandwich $7.99</strong><br />
Shredded Pork on Kaiser bun plus one side<br />
BBQ Beans, Coleslaw or Watermelon wedge<br />
$1.99 for additional side</p>
<p>Also available will be local beers provided by Badger Hill Brewing Company (16oz $8.99) and Coca-Cola soft drinks (30 oz $4.29, 20 oz $3.99, Dasani 20 oz $3.59):</p>
<p>High Road Everyday Ale (blonde/golden style)<br />
Traitor IPA (India Pale Ale)<br />
White IPA (Belgian Style Wit beer with spices)<br />
MSB Minnesota Special Bitter (ESB style)</p>
