“At least once a season, I must have the garlic Parmesan fries, an elephant ear and cheese-on-a-stick!”

<p><P><P><em>Welcome to our interview series where bloggers share their insights on dining when at Cedar Point&excl; Shelley&comma; the Assistant to the President from <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;cprundown&period;com&sol;" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">CP Rundown<&sol;a>&comma; recently visited Cedar Point&comma; so we asked her to write us a review on their dining experience&period;<&sol;em> <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>1&rpar; <strong>When was the last time you visited the park&quest;<&sol;strong> Last week <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>2&rpar; <strong>Who do you typically visit the park with&quest;<&sol;strong> Friends&comma; family or by myself&comma; I am not picky&excl; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>3&rpar; <strong>Do you bring any food&sol;drink into the park&quest;<&sol;strong> I do not&period; I have the meal plan and a souvenir cup&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>4&rpar; <strong>Do you take part in any of the meal plans &lpar;single&comma; all-day&comma; or all-season&rpar;&quest;<&sol;strong> Yes&comma; the all-season plan&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>4a&rpar; <strong>If you did&comma; what were the pros and cons&quest;<&sol;strong> There are many pros to the all season dining plan&period; It has been a cost savings to me&period; Since I know I can eat &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;free&comma;” I visit the park more often&period; There is a wide variety of options listed on the plan&comma; and they seem to be expanding and changing options&comma; so I have not gotten bored&period; I especially enjoyed the addition of Midway Market on the plan <em>&lpar;Editor Note&colon; Midway Market is no longer available on the all-day or all-season plans&rpar;<&sol;em>&excl; I also appreciate the addition of the turkey dog and burger recently&period; The cons of the meal plan&comma; is while they offer substitutions for fries&comma; I have found them not to be available when I ask&period; I wish they would add something sweet to the plan&period; Maybe&comma; a funnel cake or elephant ear&excl; I REALLY wish they had a plan where drinks are included&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>5&rpar; <strong>What is your must have food when visiting the park&quest;<&sol;strong> At least once a season&comma; I must have the garlic Parmesan fries&comma; an elephant ear and cheese-on-a-stick&excl; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>6&rpar; <strong>Are there any food items you would not eat again and why&quest;<&sol;strong> I can not say there are any food items I would not try again&period; I have had two negative experiences at Grist Mill with soggy pizza this year&comma; so it is worth it to me to make the trek to the front of the park&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>7&rpar; <strong>Do you&sol;your family have any money saving tips for eating in the park&quest;<&sol;strong> Ask for free water&excl; Buy the meal plan&&num;8230&semi;many of the portions are big enough to share&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>8&rpar; <strong>What is one thing you would request to make your dining experience better&quest;<&sol;strong> Increase the number of healthy options in the park&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>9&rpar; <strong>On average&comma; how much do you spend to eat per visit&quest;<&sol;strong> I would say &dollar;5-10 including beverages&period; Normally&comma; I just eat off the meal plan and occasionally purchase a beverage or snack&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>10&rpar; <strong>Are there any other theme&sol;amusement parks food items that you would like to see at Cedar Point&quest;<&sol;strong> Fried Oreos<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Thank you Shelley for taking the time to let us know about your Cedar Point dining experience&period; You can connect with her on <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;facebook&period;com&sol;cprundown" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">Facebook<&sol;a> or <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;twitter&period;com&sol;CPRunDown" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">Twitter<&sol;a>&period;<&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>If you would be interested in taking part in the next interview installment&comma; please <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;cpfoodblog&period;com&sol;contact&sol;">contact us<&sol;a> for more details&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>&ast; If you liked this post&comma; join other readers who have signed up to for our <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;cpfoodblog&period;com&sol;newsletter&sol;">free Newsletter<&sol;a>&&num;8230&semi;because then you will never miss another update&excl;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
