<p><P><P><em>Welcome to our interview series where bloggers share their insights on dining when at Cedar Point! Shelley, the Assistant to the President from <a href="http://cprundown.com/" target="_blank">CP Rundown</a>, recently visited Cedar Point, so we asked her to write us a review on their dining experience.</em> </p>
<p>1) <strong>When was the last time you visited the park?</strong> Last week </p>
<p>2) <strong>Who do you typically visit the park with?</strong> Friends, family or by myself, I am not picky! </p>
<p>3) <strong>Do you bring any food/drink into the park?</strong> I do not. I have the meal plan and a souvenir cup. </p>
<p>4) <strong>Do you take part in any of the meal plans (single, all-day, or all-season)?</strong> Yes, the all-season plan. </p>
<p>4a) <strong>If you did, what were the pros and cons?</strong> There are many pros to the all season dining plan. It has been a cost savings to me. Since I know I can eat “free,” I visit the park more often. There is a wide variety of options listed on the plan, and they seem to be expanding and changing options, so I have not gotten bored. I especially enjoyed the addition of Midway Market on the plan <em>(Editor Note: Midway Market is no longer available on the all-day or all-season plans)</em>! I also appreciate the addition of the turkey dog and burger recently. The cons of the meal plan, is while they offer substitutions for fries, I have found them not to be available when I ask. I wish they would add something sweet to the plan. Maybe, a funnel cake or elephant ear! I REALLY wish they had a plan where drinks are included. </p>
<p>5) <strong>What is your must have food when visiting the park?</strong> At least once a season, I must have the garlic Parmesan fries, an elephant ear and cheese-on-a-stick! </p>
<p>6) <strong>Are there any food items you would not eat again and why?</strong> I can not say there are any food items I would not try again. I have had two negative experiences at Grist Mill with soggy pizza this year, so it is worth it to me to make the trek to the front of the park. </p>
<p>7) <strong>Do you/your family have any money saving tips for eating in the park?</strong> Ask for free water! Buy the meal plan&#8230;many of the portions are big enough to share. </p>
<p>8) <strong>What is one thing you would request to make your dining experience better?</strong> Increase the number of healthy options in the park. </p>
<p>9) <strong>On average, how much do you spend to eat per visit?</strong> I would say $5-10 including beverages. Normally, I just eat off the meal plan and occasionally purchase a beverage or snack. </p>
<p>10) <strong>Are there any other theme/amusement parks food items that you would like to see at Cedar Point?</strong> Fried Oreos</p>
