<p>Lets be honest with each other. We have now visited <a href="https://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/cedar-point-food/provisions/">Provisions</a> on Cedar Point&#8217;s new Forbidden Frontier on Adventure Island on nearly every visit to the park this season. One because it is the new place in town and we needed to try all the menu options. However, it is also because Provisions offers food you can not find anywhere else in the park, it is now included on the <a href="https://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/cedar-point-food/">Cedar Point dining plan</a>, and most of the menu options are really good! </p>
<p>For example, the <a href="https://cpfoodblog.com/review-cedar-point-provisions-bbq-brisket-panini/">BBQ Brisket Panini</a> is outstanding, offering great flavors from the tender meat to the melted crumbled blue cheese with onions. Beautiful. </p>
<p>Also offered at Provisions is a new shredded pork chipotle panini. Featuring fresh smoked pork, caramelized onions, and aged cheddar cheese. </p>

<p>Can we all just take a moment to appreciate melted cheese? There is a reason <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/cedar-point-food/melt-bar-grilled/">Melt Bar &#038; Grilled</a> is so popular&#8230;melted cheese! That is why it drives us nuts when the majority of sandwiches that come with cheese within not only Cedar Point, but the majority of Cedar Fair parks, come with the cheese thrown onto the burger cold at the last second before given to guests. It is just not proper cheese etiquette! </p>
<p>However, at Provisions, things are different! The beauty of grilling the sandwich in a panini press is it warms and melts the cheese onto the contents, and the combination is beautiful! </p>
<p>We really enjoy the shredded pork chipotle panini. The sandwich offers a great combination of flavors, but be prepared that it does offer a little heat from the chipotle peppers. Therefore, it might not be ideal for little ones with a sensitive palate. </p>
<p>Inevitably, some guests will say, why isn&#8217;t this included on the dining plan? Sure, we would love to see it offered with a meal pass. However, staffing and the number of grills would likely have to be increased to keep up with demand. Since each sandwich is crafted fresh (and can be customized if needed), it takes a couple minutes for everything to be brought together before serving the guests. Should Provisions be inundated with guests from the dining plan, we are not sure they could keep up. </p>
<p>That is also one reason we like Provisions, because it is out of the way and buried in the island, so most guests might not walk all the way out there to eat, and thus the lines have been minimal to none on our several visits.</p>
