<p>The <a href="https://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/cedar-point-food/provisions/">Provisions</a> food stand on Forbidden Frontier at Adventure Island has been getting pretty great reviews from guests. It is in an ideal location within the island, offering some unique menu items guests will not find elsewhere in the entire park. In addition, the quality of the food is high and perfect for families. Plus now that Provisions is included on the <a href="https://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/cedar-point-food/">Cedar Point dining plan</a>, it makes it extremely easy to grab a good bite to eat. </p>
<p>One of the new dessert items at Provisions that we were very excited to try are the crepes. Provisions offers both a peaches &#038; cream version and a strawberry short cake version.</p>
<p>We are big fan of peaches and elected to order that one on a recent visit. </p>
<p>The peaches and cream crepe features sliced peaches, whipped cream and a cinnamon dusting. </p>
<p>Honestly, this might be a one and done for us, as we were not impressed. The crepe was tasteless, dry, and felt like eating cardboard. The peaches were so cold, they were on the verge of being frozen. Plus the really cold peaches tasted awkward against the room temperature crepe. The whipped cream fortunately gave the dish a little bit of flavor, though we were not big on the heavily processed cream either. We would have much rather it been served with Redi-Whip in a can. </p>
<p>We wonder if throwing this crepe on the flat top grill or even into the panini press for a minute to warm everything up together would be a better option, help get everything to the same temperature, and bring out any flavors like that in the crepe.</p>
<p>Perhaps those with bland tastes will enjoy the peaches and cream crepe at Provisions, but we will go back to the dig site and see if we can find a better option. </p>
