This is what we are talking about! When going to an amusement park, we want something FUN. Something unique. Something we can not get anywhere else.

Dorney Park has delivered with something we never thought possible, KitKat Fries!

The park takes KitKat bars. OK, one could stop there, but oh no. They wrap them in an egg roll style dough. Then deep fried and covered in powdered sugar.

This is the real deal folks! As soon as we heard these were on the menu, we immediately dropped everything and ran over to the park. It was a real easy decision to decide whether to get these or ride Steel Force first thing in the morning, and the KitKat fries easily won!

The wrapper helps keep the melted chocolate inside while also maintaining a bit of crispiness one expects when biting into a KitKat bar.

The majority of our party really enjoyed the KitKat fries. We wonder if perhaps playing around with different outside wrappers would enhance the flavor; perhaps say a lighter filo dough, though not sure how that would fry.

It definitely was nice having a different kind of treat at Dorney Park that was not covered in the funnel cake batter like say, the fried Oreo cookies also offered at the stand.

The powdered sugar also really helps play up the sweetness of the fries.

We also wonder how these KitKat fries would pair with a dipping sauce, like maybe a raspberry jelly.
