<p>One of the strong appeals of going to an amusement park is to do and try things one can not do in everyday life. While one &#8220;could&#8221; construct a roller coaster in their own backyard, the feasibility and likelihood of it happening are slim. That is why guests flock to places like Worlds of Fun, to ride The Patriot, Timber Wolf, and Prowler.</p>
<p>That is why we are always big proponents of also offering menu items for guests that they might not be inclined to make at home. Is that not part of the appeal of going to your local fair and trying crazy new menu options?</p>
<p>So we get excited when places like Worlds of Fun add great new options to the menu. Take for example their new Fried Oreo cookies with an Egg Nog cream. </p>
<p>Worlds of Fun has hired a new pastry chef that can experiment and offer some sweet treats in the <a href="https://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/worlds-of-fun-dining-guide/let-them-eat-cake/">Let Them Eat Cake</a> food stand.</p>

<p>This food offers a new take on the Fried Oreo, this time by adding a dollop of sweet cream (egg nog?) to the outside of the cookie before dipping in batter, frying, then sprinkling on some powdered sugar. </p>
<p>An order consists of five cookies, perfect for sharing (so long as there is an equal amount of people to avoid fighting over the last one).</p>
<p>A funnel cake dipped fried Oreo is already good enough on its own; however, the little prize was hidden inside. A sweet, frosting-like crème, kind of like that drizzled on cinnamon rolls was a surprising delight to the senses. </p>
<p>We are extremely happy to not only see these Fried Oreo on the menu, but that they have taken it one step more to offer something even more unique that makes for a memorable and palatable moment! </p>
