<p>For the month of June 2019, the Valleyfair <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/valleyfair-food/depot-refreshments/">Depot Refreshment</a> food stand is offering an exclusive menu from a partnership with the Handsome Hog restaurant from Iron Chef winner Justin Sutherland. </p>
<p>Not only is Depot Refreshment offering a unique menu, but they are also included on the <a href="https://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/valleyfair-food/">2019 Valleyfair dining plan</a>! </p>
<p>The meal includes a nice big portion of slow cooked brisket. The meat is really tender and melts in your mouth. The sandwich is topped with BBQ sauce, and pickled jicama. There is a smoked green tomato, sweet peppers and onions relish served on the side. </p>
<p>When you put the relish on the brisket you get a one, two punch. It taste sweet on the front of your tongue, and marries well with the juiciness of the brisket. As it moves to the back of your mouth you get a nice zing. The relish was really outstanding! </p>
<p>The hush puppies are hand crafted corn bread based. They are huge and can see and taste the corn. The spinach inside gives a nice texture and flavor change.</p>
