<p>What have you thought of the new <a href="https://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/kings-island-food/miami-river-brewhouse/">Miami River Brewhouse</a> at Kings Island? Executive Chef James Major revamped the entire menu with some great options, including tons included on the <a href="https://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/kings-island-food/">2019 Kings Island Dining Plan</a>. </p>
<p>One of the monster sized new menu items is the BBLT&#8230;bacon, bacon, and more bacon (8 slices to be exact) with some lettuce and tomato and a special sri-mayo sauce. Served on hearty, thick cut toast, pickles, and tater tots. </p>
<p>The sandwich is nice and big, which is part of what is the meals fallout. The bacon is nice and crispy, which is sort of important with a BLT. You want the bacon to break at the bite. If it were an undercooked piece of bacon, you risk pulling out an entire strip of meat after biting into the sandwich. For that, the BBLT is a win. </p>
<p>The special sri-mayo sauce gives the sandwich that douse of flavor and little bit of spicy kick. However, with the size of the bread and sandwich as a whole, the sauce was sort of lost in the mix. We ended up having to order additional sauce to make it really stand out. </p>
<p>As a menu option, and specifically as a dining plan option, this was a great meal. However, the overwhelming opinion was the sandwich was rather dry. With such a thick cut of bread, it really needed more sauce, though the lettuce and tomato did help give the sandwich that little bit of extra moisture that was needed to balance the bread.</p>
