<p>There are all kinds of new changes this season behind-the-scenes where the Carolinas come together. One of our favorite changes is the food and beverage team is headlines by an all new crew for 2022. John Loukas, the executive chef, is teamed with sous chef Calious Berry and Jeremy Mannix. The team is breathing new life into the food and beverage lineup around Carowinds in 2022, and we are super excited to see what is in store. </p>
<p>In addition to a new event for 2022, the <a href="https://cpfoodblog.com/2022-carowinds-state-line-celebration/">State Line Celebration</a>, </p>
<p>Fried chicken is new on the menu at <a href="https://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/carowinds-dining-guide/blue-ridge-country-kitchen/">Blue Ridge Country Kitchen</a>. Dining plan eligible.</p>

<p>Shake Central will feature a new Blue Unicorn shake for 2022. This is in addition to the Donut Shop, Chocolate Explosion and Colossal Monster shakes. </p>
<p>Also, all April Carowinds will be donating the proceeds of the shakes to Make-a-Wish. The park will host a special Make-a-Wish event April 30.</p>
