<p><P><P>One of our greatest sources of joy is when the parks offer creative menu offerings as well as unique food events. Since starting the CPFoodBlog, one of the events that has stood out from the beginning is the Valleyfair Green Giant Corn Feast!</p>
<p>The park brings in annually over 30,000 pounds of corn provided by Green Giant, and it is handed out FREE to park goers! In addition, the past couple years Valleyfair has worked to create special menu items unique for the Corn Feast weekend.</p>
<p>This year is just as exciting with the following scheduled special menu items.</p>
<p>&#8211; Pork Chops<br />
&#8211; BBQ Chicken Quarters,<br />
&#8211; Foot Long Hot dogs<br />
&#8211; Turkey Legs fresh from the charcoal smoker<br />
&#8211; Fresh Waffle Cone Ice Cream Sundaes<br />
&#8211; Corn flour short cakes with black berries and wiped cream<br />
&#8211; Sweet corn tamales</p>
<p>The Valleyfair Corn Feast takes place September 3-5, 2016 from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm around the Gazebo Stage area.</p>
<p>In addition to live music, the event also plays host to a daily corn eating contest at 5:00 pm. Do you have what it takes?</p>
