Kings Dominion 2014 Halloween Haunt VIP Meal

Guests to Kings Dominion will quickly realize there is a new sheriff in town that is out to change the face of dining at the park. On July 1, 2014, Kings Dominion brought in Executive Chef Paul Maloney, with a great background in culinary expertise. This fall, Kings Dominion Halloween Haunt will feature a VIP dining experience like no other.

The Haunt VIP Meal is currently scheduled for the following dates: September 27, October 4, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, and 26, 2014. The 5:00 PM nightly dinner will be served in the Caprice Room above Starbucks.

Meals cost $34.99 per person, and are sure to be worth every penny.

Exclusive menus each night will feature Chef Paul’s special concoctions like Vampire Blood Sucker Shooter, Grilled Pork Flesh with Pickled Intestines and Bone Marrow Cream, Slow Roasted De-Boned Beef Carcass with Blood Gravy and Plucked Green Frog Legs, and even Road Kill Pumpkin Bar with Cemetery Dirt and Embalming Fluid Sauce.

Here is the great thing about this dining experience…the menu will be different throughout Halloween Haunt. Very creative, not only in the presentation, but also the variety.

We have received the exclusive menu from Chef Paul to share with you for the first event on September 27.

The Resurrection (First Course)
Doswell Cemetary Smoked Zombie Corpse with Graveyard Fog (Smoked Pulled BBQ Pork on Cornbread Round Topped with Vinegar Slaw Enclosed in Glass Dome with Smoke)

The Faceless Feast (Entree)
Deadliest Catch on Warm Maggot Pilaf and The Ghost of Kings Dominion’s Vomit Sauce (Egg Battered Mahi Mahi on Creamy Parmesan Orzo with Lemon Caper Cream Sauce and Wilted Spinach)

The Final Breath (Dessert)
Haunted Apple Grove Cobbler with Candied Casket Earth Worms (Warm Apple Cobbler with Gummy Worms, Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and Caramel Sauce)

Guests who purchase the Haunt VIP Meal will also be contacted to determine if they have any allergies or are celebrating a special occasion, at which time the menu will be adjusted towards their needs. Vegetarians will also have a menu available for them upon request.

Following the meal, guests will receive a souvenir menu with the gory description of the food, what the food actually is and then the Haunted story about the Caprice Room. What an awesome experience!
