Served on a traditional French bread and served with meat, the Po’ Boy sandwich became popular during the late 1800’s down in New Orleans. Executive Chef Paul Maloney has brought the Po’ Boy sandwich to Kings Dominion, but one needs to step outside the park to actually try one.

Head over to Surfer Joe’s at Soak City where they will serve you a traditional shrimp po’ boy. However, for guests looking for something without shell fish, one can try a new Redneck Po’ Boy.

The Redneck Po’ Boy is served with chicken fingers, slathered in BBQ sauce, and served with coleslaw! The sandwich is served with a side of fries.

Guests can either purchase the Redneck Po’ Boy outright, or use their Kings Dominion dining plan for redemption of the meal.
