150327 Knotts Boysenberry Punch and BBQ Sauce

Our house has been graced with a package of the latest phenomena, boysenberry BBQ sauce from Knott’s Berry Farm. Knott’s uses the BBQ sauce throughout the boysenberry festival on turkey legs to chicken wings and ribs and many more delectable items. 2015 is the first year that the fan favorite has been bottled and available for purchase to the public.

So what exactly goes into a bottle of famous boysenberry barbeque sauce? Lets take a peak into the bottle.

Ingredients

Ketchup (tomato concentrate [water, tomato paste, tomato fiber], high fructose corn syrup, distilled vinegar, corn syrup)
Brown sugar
Boysenberries
Water
Rice vinegar
Sugar
Apple Cider vinegar
Hoisin sauce (fermented soybean paste [water, salt, soybeans, wheat flour], spice extract, dried sweet potato, colors [caramel, red 40], modified corn starch, sesame seed paste)
Worcestershire sauce [vinegar, molasses, high fructose corn syrup, anchovies, onions, tamarind concentrate]
Honey
Salt
Chili Peppers
Cornstarch
Dried garlic and onion
Spices including paprika, garlic, corn syrup solids, natural smoke flavor, lemon powder
Citric acid
Natural flavor
Potassium Sorbate
Sodium Bisulfite
Xanthan gum

The boysenberry BBQ sauce contains soy, wheat, and fish for those with food allergies.
