<p>New for 2019 is the <a href="https://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/worlds-of-fun-dining-guide/prospectors-burritos-cantina/">Prospector’s Burritos &#038; Cantina</a> food stand. Once the new <a href="https://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/worlds-of-fun-dining-guide/cotton-blossom-bar-b-que/">Cotton Blossom BBQ</a> opened up, it no longer made sense for the <a href="https://cpfoodblog.com/worlds-of-fun-dining-guide/worlds-of-fun-battle-creek-barbeque/">Battle Creek BBQ</a> to offer similar food, and thus the change was made. </p>
<p>Prospector’s Burritos &#038; Cantina currently offers three different protein options: Ancho Rubbed Chicken, Grilled Steak, or Smoked Pulled Pork.</p>
<p>After choosing your meat, guests can choose from a variety of traditional Mexican style toppings. </p>
<p>We ordered the Ancho Rubbed Chicken in a burrito on a recent visit. We added the rice and beans that were offered, along with onions, diced tomatoes, salsa sauce, grated cheese and sour cream. </p>
<p>The creation of the perfect burrito requires the right balance of the ingredients and right mixture to ensure you get a thorough bite of all the flavors. </p>
<p>A typical problem with this type of eatery is they fill the burrito with filler material and less of the items that give actual flavor. Unfortunately, this was the case during our experiment with the Ancho Rubbed Chicken Burrito. </p>
<p>We received more rice and beans than we would have liked and not very much chicken, cheese or sour cream. While the chicken did have a pleasant flavor, it was quite understated and just not enough in the overall burrito to know it was in there. </p>
<p>The real shocker was they served the burrito in a gluten free tortilla, which was not requested. While it is great that a gluten free tortilla is available, for those that may require it, it had a way more tough and chewy texture which made it very difficult to eat. </p>
<p>Next time we order this meal we will know what to look out for in the way of making sure we get a flour tortilla, and making sure there is the right balance of ingredients. </p>
