<p>When guests enter Kings Island this season, one thing they will surely notice when walking around International Street is the sweet smell of barbecue! Not only does the new <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/kings-island-new-coney-bar-b-que-executive-chef/">Coney BBQ</a> send that sweet, smokey aroma throughout the area, but there is a new option awaiting guests on International Street. </p>
<p>You may recall during the inaugural <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/2017-kings-island-winterfest-food-guide/">2017 Kings Island Winterfest</a>, International Street offered a new food option, Turkey Lurkey’s Legs to Go. </p>
<p>Well the fresh grilled smells remain for the 2018 season, with the <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/kings-island-food/kings-island-turkey-legs/">Turkey Legs stand</a> becoming a permanent fixture. </p>
<p>We have also been excited to see the crowds eating up the new specialty menu items. </p>
<p>One of the new signature menu items is bacon-on-a-stick&#8230;need we say more? </p>
<p>They take a thick slice of bacon and string it on a stick. The bacon is then brushed with a chili maple glaze before being grilled on an open flame in front of guests. </p>

<p>We were quite impressed to try this signature menu item. Bacon-on-a-Stick is something creative that one should expect when visiting an amusement park, as it is not something readily available outside the park. </p>
<p>Our family bought one to share, and it was devoured in no time. The glaze provided a nice flavor in combination with the smokey grilled preparation. </p>
