<p>When it comes to our personal favorite meal options at Cedar Point, <a href="https://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/cedar-point-food/gristmill-wild-eats/">Gristmill Wild Eats</a> (formerly Frontier Foldovers) happens to be one of our top picks.</p>
<p>The location was converted for the 2018 season to Frontier Foldovers, but was then rebranded for 2019 as Gristmill Wild Eats with the same menu. However, the most notable option that we quickly fell in love with is the vegan friendly Veggie Sausage Foldover! </p>
<p>Cedar Point is offering Beyond Sausage in the park this year which is not your typical veggie sausage. We have tried countless different varieties of veggie sausage, and the Beyond Sausage brand are the real deal closely mimicking real meat. </p>
<p>At Gristmill they offer a grilled Beyond Sausage sliced up in a flat bread with lettuce, spinach, and onion. It seems to be hit or miss whether they actually put the balsamic vinegar on the sandwich, but it is available if you ask. Otherwise, there is ranch dressing just outside the facility. </p>
<p>We much prefer getting the salad as the side in lieu of fries, just in our experience, the croutons are typically stale by the time you get it, depending on when it was packaged. </p>
<p>This foldover, while large, is super light and really great on a warm day. The Veggie Sausage Foldover is honestly one our favorite dining plan options in the park, especially for vegan/vegetarian diets, since their is not much alternatives. </p>
<p>We are not sure what the deal is with serving it with no sauce. We like asking for the balsamic vinegar and then combining it with a little of the ranch for a really great flavor!</p>
