<p><P><P>One of the more secretive new food changes at Cedar Point for the 2017 season was that Ohio&#8217;s own Root&#8217;s Poultry would be providing meat at <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/cedar-point-food/skyride-refreshments/">Sky Ride Refreshments</a>. Cedar Point opted to not only give guests to get Root&#8217;s sandwiches on one side, but also take mac and cheese and add Root&#8217;s meat to the top of those as well. </p>
<p>While it took awhile for the stand to open for the season, we finally were able to get in and try all the various mac and cheese dishes and boy were we impressed! So lets start out with the buffalo chicken mac and cheese.</p>
<p>The dish includes a tray of mac and cheese, a nice helping of Root&#8217;s sliced chicken, and some buffalo sauce. </p>

<p>The meal packed a ton of flavor with that little bit of heat provided by the hot sauce. The chicken was very good and paired nicely with the mac and cheese. </p>
<p>We were also very happy to see the chicken was not doused in hot sauce, which easily could have overpowered the dish. A lite topping is all the meal needed to give it that added kick and flavor.</p>
<p>We love to have the option of a light sprinkle of bleu cheese on top, but do not see that happening since it is an acquired taste that the majority of guests would likely skip.</p>

<p>The size of the serving dishes seem to be changing, so hopefully we start to see some consistency in how much food is included. We were served our in one of the fresh cut fry trays and it was a nice serving for one person to enjoy.</p>
