CEDAR POINT HOT DOG ON A STICK – You may know them as a corn dog because of their thick layer of cornmeal batter, deep fried and served on a stick. However, at Cedar Point they are called hot dog on a stick.

These classic meals are available on the meal plans (single meal, all-day, or season) at Lakeside Express, Corral, and Dragon’s Inn.

The Single Meal Deal includes 2 hot dogs on a stick, while the All-Day/All-Season dining plans only include 1 with the meal.

*Corral serves the combo with chips, while Lakeside Express and Dragon’s Inn serve with fries.

Not being a traditional fan of hot dogs or corn dogs, the Cedar Point version is actually quite good. They have a nice thick coating that is perfectly cooked, as well as the hot dog.

As is with all the meal plan options, the fries are nothing special compared to the fresh cut version sold elsewhere in the park.

Sauces are available for dipping at self serve kiosks adjacent to the facilities, but the flavor of the hot dog on a stick is actually quite good and did not need anything additional.

What have you thought about the hot dog on a stick meal deal?

I had the hot dog on a stick last season. I didn't care for it. I think it was the breading I didn't like. Although I am not a huge fan of hot dogs in general, unless they are grilled, so that probably didn't help either.
