<p>One of the big highlights of the <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/cedar-point-food/">2017 Cedar Point dining plans</a> was the expanded menu items at sit down restaurants like <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/cedar-point-food/johnny-rockets/">Johnny Rockets</a> and <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/cedar-point-food/chickies-and-petes/">Chickie&#8217;s &#038; Pete&#8217;s</a>. Though the poor execution of the <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/review-cedar-point-johnny-rockets-crispy-chicken-breast-salad/">Johnny Rockets chicken salad</a> or the decision to give dining plan guests only a half sandwich have left a lot to be desired.</p>
<p>Though the poor performance of some menu items, having additional options on the dining plans allowed guests to possible find a new winner. </p>
<p>We elected to try the Chickie&#8217;s &#038; Pete&#8217;s chicken wings which includes six wings in choice of sauce and an order of traditionally Crabby Fries with signature white cheese dipping sauce.</p>
<p>Sauce choices include a dry rub or buffalo, and we were also told though not listed on the menu, one can order the chicken wings in BBQ sauce.</p>
<p>We opted to split our order of chicken wings, 3 dry rub and 3 buffalo. </p>

<p>One of the things we were immediately happy about was the jumbo sized wings. Both the dry rub and buffalo wings were really good. We even suggest taking the buffalo wings and dipping them in the white cheese sauce served with the fries. It might sound weird, but was actually quite good. </p>
<p>Now that we have tried the Chickie&#8217;s &#038; Pete&#8217;s wings, we will surely be returning for this menu item in the future.</p>
