Seriously. Seriously. Is there anything Chef Kris Siuta at Carowinds can create that is not fantastic? The Carowinds chef routinely goes above and beyond to makes sure everything is of the highest quality of freshness and made in house. There is a reason if you ask anyone who visits a lot of the Cedar Fair parks using their Platinum season pass which park offers the best food, and they say Carowinds. Period.

The other important ingredient is Chef Kris rolls out spectacular new menu items not only in Carowinds, like the fan favorite Harmony Hall, but also offers some unique menu items at the Carolina Harbor water park.

One of the new menu items offered this season at Harbor House is a shrimp po’boy.

Take a good quality sub roll and pair it with fresh battered shrimp, some fresh lettuce and tomato, and drizzle it with a signature sauce.

The meal is also served with crinkle cut fries, which we feel is a great option that for a strange reason we tend to connect to living near the ocean.

The sandwich is great and really goes well within the water park environment.

Even though the crinkle cut fries go well with the shrimp po’boy, our only other suggestion would to perhaps have a good quality slaw as an optional side. Fortunately, slaw is available as a side at Harbor House. Chef Kris thinks of everything!
