<p>When the Miner&#8217;s Cafe was proposed for the 2019 season at Canada&#8217;s Wonderland (and part of the overall Frontier Canada section of the park), the menu initially was various rice and noodle bowls. However, less than a month after opening, the menu had been revised to sandwiches. Fortunately, the menu offerings were something different that guests could only find at this location.</p>
<p>One of the menu items is a meatball sub. Under normal circumstances, a meatball sub may not be one of those items directly on our radar to initially try given there are so many great menu options at Canada&#8217;s Wonderland. However, the reviews keep coming in, and guests are loving the Miner&#8217;s Cafe meatball sub!</p>
<p>The meatball sub includes 4 hearty meatballs, as well as sauteed onions and peppers. Then the sandwich is topped with shredded mozzarella cheese and a garlic aioli sauce. The sandwich includes a bag of chips. </p>
<p>This sandwich really packs a ton of flavor and goes excellent together. The meatballs are well flavored, and when you add the marinara sauce and additional toppings, this is a great meal. Our only con is the bun was a little soft and needs to be toasted to better hold the sandwich together. </p>

<p>Our good buddy Matt from <a href="https://coastercircuits.com/2019/07/july-13-14-2019-canadas-wonderland-trip-report-good-eats/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Coaster Circuits</a> also recently tried the meatball sub and fully agreed it was fantastic! </p>

<strong>Pros:</strong> Hearty meatballs, with a great selection of grilled vegetables and a good portion of marinara (and other) sauce!<br />
<strong>Cons:</strong> The very salty Classic Lay’s chips are the only option for a side, and the bun is too soft. It would be great if they could toast the bun just slightly, but otherwise, a fantastic meal!</p>
