Review: Canada’s Wonderland Backlot Cafe Aromatic Curried Beef

<p><a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;cpfoodblog&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2017&sol;05&sol;170430-Canadas-Wonderland-Backlot-Cafe-Curried-Beef-©Matt-&commat;CoasterCircuits&period;com&lowbar;&period;jpg"><img src&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;cpfoodblog&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2017&sol;05&sol;170430-Canadas-Wonderland-Backlot-Cafe-Curried-Beef-©Matt-&commat;CoasterCircuits&period;com&lowbar;&period;jpg" alt&equals;"170430 Canada&&num;039&semi;s Wonderland Backlot Cafe Curried Beef ©Matt &lpar;&commat;CoasterCircuits&period;com&rpar;" width&equals;"819" height&equals;"703" class&equals;"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11736" &sol;><&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Canada&&num;8217&semi;s Wonderland has been surprising us year after year with some incredible ethnic food options that you will not see in any of the other Cedar Fair parks&period; Since January 2015&comma; Executive Chef Dilup Attygalla has been transforming the way we eat around the park&comma; and we are extremely thankful&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;cpfoodblog&period;com&sol;park-food-guides&sol;canadas-wonderland-food&sol;backlot-cafe&sol;">Backlot Cafe<&sol;a> in Canada’s Wonderland is Chef Attygalla&&num;8217&semi;s artistic palette for great food options&comma; and the majority of the menu is on the <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;cpfoodblog&period;com&sol;park-food-guides&sol;canadas-wonderland-food&sol;">Canada&&num;8217&semi;s Wonderland dining plans<&sol;a>&excl; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>While the &&num;8220&semi;Backlot Cafe&&num;8221&semi; may not be the right name branding for what is inside&comma; you will see a diverse list of food stations which are themed to different cultures&comma; such as Italian&comma; Mexican&comma; and Indian&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>We asked the leading Canada&&num;8217&semi;s Wonderland insider&comma; Matt from <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;coastercircuits&period;com" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">Coaster Circuits<&sol;a>&comma; to give us some feedback on this years Backlot Cafe aromatic curried beef&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;cpfoodblog&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2017&sol;05&sol;170520-Canadas-Wonderland-Backlot-Cafe-Curried-Beef-©Matt-&commat;CoasterCircuits&period;com&lowbar;&period;jpg"><img src&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;cpfoodblog&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2017&sol;05&sol;170520-Canadas-Wonderland-Backlot-Cafe-Curried-Beef-©Matt-&commat;CoasterCircuits&period;com&lowbar;&period;jpg" alt&equals;"170520 Canada&&num;039&semi;s Wonderland Backlot Cafe Curried Beef ©Matt &lpar;&commat;CoasterCircuits&period;com&rpar;" width&equals;"1200" height&equals;"887" class&equals;"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11737" &sol;><&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>On opening day&comma; we decided to try something we do not normally get at the park since it is our first season on the all-season dining plan&period; After viewing the options at Backlot&comma; we decided on the Aromatic Curried Beef at the Little India station&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The curried beef is served with basmati rice&comma; Naan&comma; papadum&comma; and additional sauces are optional&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The beef was soft and moist&comma; and I could taste the rich flavor in every bite&period; While I do not personally eat the cardamom seeds or cloves found in curry&comma; it was nice to see them in there as it contributes to the flavor&period; The naan was nice and warm&comma; with a slight crisp while still being soft in the middle&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Papadum was something I never had before&period; It’s a thin crispy bread&comma; a bit like a fried tortilla&period; I was interested in trying it and it added to the uniqueness of the dish&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The aromatic curried beef is a fantastic and authentic dish that is not to be missed when visiting Canada&&num;8217&semi;s Wonderland&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>What have you thought of the Indian cuisine at Canada&&num;8217&semi;s Wonderland&quest; Let us know below in the comments&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>&ast; If you liked this post&comma; join other readers who have signed up to for our <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;cpfoodblog&period;com&sol;newsletter&sol;">free Newsletter<&sol;a>&&num;8230&semi;because then you will never miss another update&excl;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><&excl;-- --><&sol;p>&NewLine;
