There is nothing that makes us happier than seeing the parks embrace their new improvements by effectively marketing great food products tied into the theme! For various reasons, sometimes the new products thrive, while others dive into the history books.

No doubt, 2018 is one of the most exciting years in terms of park improvements at Cedar Point surrounding the transformation of Steel Vengeance. Tying it all together, Frontier Town is really ready to thrive with some fantastic western themed improvements.

What we were most excited to try this year is the new Roundup specialty burgers that are themed after the Steel Vengeance characters, Jackson “Blackjack” Chamberlain, Chess “Wild One” Watkins and Wyatt “Digger” Dempsey. So lets take a look at these creations.

Digger Challenge Basket (American cheese, smoked pulled brisket, sweet golden BBQ)(1050-1160 calories)

Sizzlin’ Chess Burger Basket (American cheese, fried jalapenos, BBQ aioli)(1170-1350 calories)

Blackjack Smokehouse Burger Basket (American cheese, Applewood bacon, Blackjack BBQ, Lettuce, Tomato)(970-1140 calories)

Overall, all three burgers are a huge improvement over those in years past. We particularly enjoyed the Blackjack burger with the BBQ sauce. The Chess burger gives a nice kick with the jalapenos. The Digger Challenge was an all around great meal with the Carolina Gold style BBQ sauce and tender brisket.

Guests with Cedar Point dining plans will also be excited to learn that the Steel Vengeance specialty burgers are included for 2018!
