<p><P><P>Congratulations! You successfully made it through another off-season, and Cedar Point opens their gates for the 2017 season this Saturday.</p>
<p>By now you know there are some pretty big dining changes this season at Cedar Point! First, what started out as a friendly Tweet resulted in <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/melt-bar-grilled-announces-ninth-location-open-cedar-point-summer/">Melt Bar &#038; Grilled</a> opening their ninth location at Cedar Point! </p>
<p>For those that do not want to carry around a souvenir bottle all year, Cedar Fair has introduced a new <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/2017-cedar-point-season-pass-drink-program/">Season Pass Drink program</a>.</p>
<p>Also new for this season, you will notice a new Dippin Dot&#8217;s stand right before entering the Frontier Trail tunnel (next to <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/cedar-point-food/coca-cola-marketplace-cedar-junction/">Coca-Cola Marketplace</a>). For the past year or so there was a temporary Dippin&#8217; Dots cart that occupied the space, but this season it will be one of the permanent booths.</p>

<p>You will also notice a change at <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/cedar-point-food/cjs-provisions/">CJ&#8217;s Provisions</a>! New this year, Auntie Anne&#8217;s and Cinnabon will now be sold inside CJ&#8217;s Provisions. The building is now divided into three sections with Auntie Anne&#8217;s and Cinnabon on the end, CJ&#8217;s Provisions in the middle offering fresh wraps and specialty mac and cheese, and <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/cedar-point-food/toot-sweets/">Toot Sweets</a> will still operate on the north side of the building. </p>

<p>But wait&#8230;there is more! </p>
<p>Ohio’s own <a href="http://www.rootspoultry.com/" target="_blank">Root’s Poultry</a> shredded chicken, pork and beef sandwiches, along with gourmet macaroni and cheese bowls, are coming to <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/cedar-point-food/skyride-refreshments/">Sky Ride Refreshments</a>, located near the Scrambler. </p>
<p>On the Frontier Trail, a new quick service <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/cedar-point-food/famous-daves-bar-b-que/">Famous Dave’s BBQ Shack</a> will arrive with brisket and pulled pork sandwiches, ribs and combo meals in the former <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/cedar-point-food/gristmill-refreshments/">Gristmill Refreshments</a>. </p>

<p>And in FrontierTown, Wagon Wheel Pizza will replace <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/cedar-point-food/los-gatos-cafe/">Los Gatos</a> and will serve up hand-made pizza with traditional toppings of pepperoni, sausage or cheese. </p>

<p>You can still get hand made burritos at Buckaroo&#8217;s Burritos, which replaces <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/cedar-point-food/chuck-wagon-western-foods/">Chuck Wagon Western Foods</a>. Pretty much same great menu, but new name.</p>
