New Cashless Payments Being Tested at Cedar Fair Amusement Parks

<p><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cpfoodblog&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2021&sol;07&sol;readycard2&period;jpg"><img src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cpfoodblog&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2021&sol;07&sol;readycard2&period;jpg" alt&equals;"readycard2" width&equals;"700" height&equals;"588" class&equals;"aligncenter size-full wp-image-22199" &sol;><&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Kings Island&comma; Valleyfair and Worlds of Fun are all rolling out a new cashless system throughout the park starting in mid-July&period; The parks are phasing out acceptance of cash &lpar;see below for clarification&rpar; in an effort to streamline the checkout process and minimize cash control&period; All food&comma; beverage&comma; merchandise and ticket windows will now accept credit cards&comma; debit cards&comma; or smart device with Apple Pay or Google Pay&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The parks are also implementing new cash conversion machines where guests will load their cash without any fees onto a pre-paid Visa credit card&period; Then use the card throughout not only throughout the park but also anywhere Visa is accepted outside the park&period; However&comma; guests need to be aware that any balance on the card is subject to a &dollar;3&period;95&sol;month fee if not active within 92 days&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The cash to cards can be loaded with a minimum of &dollar;5 and maximum of &dollar;500 each&period; Oddly&comma; the cards can not be reloaded&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>While we are doubtful&comma; one thing we would love to see introduced with this program is branded cards at each of the park&period; It would be a cool free souvenir to have a Kings Island&comma; Valleyfair or Worlds of Fun debit card&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>&ast; If you liked this post&comma; join other readers who have signed up to for our <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;cpfoodblog&period;com&sol;newsletter&sol;">free Newsletter<&sol;a>&&num;8230&semi;because then you will never miss another update&excl;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><&excl;-- --><&sol;p>&NewLine;
