<p>Every year IAAPA holds the world&#8217;s largest amusement park convention in Florida, and thousands of guests and buyers flock to see the latest trends in rides, games, food, and anything you could possibly imagine related to operating an entertainment park. Ride manufacturers will reveal the latest roller coaster vehicles for the newest attractions coming to parks throughout North America. Buyers can test drive the latest technology to see what they can add to their lineup for the coming years. We also often get a glimpse into some hidden surprises coming to our favorite Cedar Fair parks.</p>
<p>Carowinds will debut <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/2019-carowinds-copperhead-strike-new-blue-ridge-junction/">Copperhead Strike</a> when it opens this spring, which is one of the most exciting new attractions debuting in 2019! </p>
<p>While we personally do not attend the IAAPA Expo despite being invited for several years, we pay very close attention to what is discovered and announced. Today Carowinds happen to post a picture of a new Copperhead Strike model that debuted at the Mack booth during IAAPA that somehow we missed. </p>
<p>Luckily, Taylor from <a href="https://www.youtube.com/user/TheCoasterguy14" rel="noopener" target="_blank">Coaster Studios</a> happen to take some incredibly detailed photos of the model that give some great details on what we can expect this spring. </p>

<p>The intertwining of track reminds of the wondefulness of Maverick at Cedar Point, with tight twists and turns. The layout is a beautiful interaction between mechanics and the landscape that would make Granny proud. We can not wait to experience Copperhead Strike this spring!</p>

<p>There is also a subtle little detail hidden in the model that gives further detail on what guests can expect to experience as they are whizzing through the countryside at 50 MPH. Have you noticed it?</p>
