<p>Have you visited Worlds of Fun lately? Across Cedar Fair parks, the food &#038; beverage teams have been stepping up their game to create unique menu offerings. Dining plans continue to be a huge driver of growth for the company, and consequently, continuing to improve the food options is a great way to sustain the momentum. </p>
<p>We have been big proponents of Worlds of Fun since our family&#8217;s first visit in 2015. The amusement park with an original design based off Around the World in 80 Days, offers a great lineup of attractions, and the creative food offerings have always impressed us. </p>
<p>Take for example the <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/review-worlds-of-fun-fried-avocado/">fried avocado</a> created by then Executive Chef Kevin Williams. The offering was available on the <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/worlds-of-fun-dining-guide/worlds-fun-food-truck/">Worlds of Fun Food Truck</a> and was the perfect combination of soft avocado with crispy panko bread crumbs. It really was a gem (but no longer offered)! </p>
<p>Today, the food and beverage team is led by Executive Chef Wesley Boston, who really impressed us with some of the specialty 2018 menu items as well as those offered during <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/2018-worlds-of-fun-winterfest-food-beverage-guide/">Worlds of Fun Winterfest</a>. The Loaded Fried Yams (Sweet potato waffle fries topped with gruyure cheese, fire-roasted chicken, cranberries and crispy fried shaved brussel sprouts) alone were worth the trip to Worlds of Fun Winterfest! </p>

<p>2019 will be a year like no other at Worlds of Fun. First, the park will introduce a brand new dining experience with the <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/worlds-of-fun-boathouse-grill-rebranded-as-cotton-blossom-bar-b-que/">Cotton Blossom Bar-B-Que</a>, offering loads of new plate options that are included on the <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/worlds-of-fun-dining-guide/">Worlds of Fun dining plans</a>! </p>
<h2>Gold Rush Pizza</h2>
<p>Available at <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/worlds-of-fun-dining-guide/worlds-of-fun-vittle-griddle/">Vittle Griddle</a>, guests will be able to order the Gold Rush Pizza! Topped with fries and mac &#038; cheese, this comfort menu item will really cheer up your taste buds! Gold Rush Pizza is included on the <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/worlds-of-fun-dining-guide/">Worlds of Fun dining plans</a>.</p>

<h2>Prospector’s Burritos &#038; Cantina</h2>
<p>Now that <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/worlds-of-fun-boathouse-grill-rebranded-as-cotton-blossom-bar-b-que/">Cotton Blossom Bar-B-Que</a> will expand upon the BBQ offerings, the former <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/worlds-of-fun-dining-guide/worlds-of-fun-battle-creek-barbeque/">Battle Creek Barbecue</a> will be transformed into Prospector’s Burritos &#038; Cantina.</p>

<p>New menu options include an entirely gluten-free selection to create your own burritos, bowls and loaded nachos. Prospector’s Burritos &#038; Cantina are included on the <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/worlds-of-fun-dining-guide/">Worlds of Fun dining plans</a>.</p>
<h2>Let Them Eat Cake</h2>

<p><a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/worlds-of-fun-dining-guide/worlds-of-fun-paisanos-pizza/">Paisano&#8217;s Pizza</a> in the Europa section of the park will be offering a new variety of freshly baked treats and drinks for 2019 at Let Them Eat Cake. In addition to funnel cakes, smoothies, bubble tea/boba tea and fresh-made pastries, all hand-crafted from the Worlds of Fun new pastry chef, guests will be able to try new menu options that include fried cheesecake and specialty cupcakes! </p>

<h2>Scandi Snacks</h2>
<p>The Chicken Shack will be converted to Scandi Snacks for the 2019 season. The new <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/worlds-of-fun-dining-guide/">Worlds of Fun dining plan</a> location will serve smoked turkey legs, smoked half chickens, hot dogs, brats, beer, wine and cocktails. </p>
<h2>Paradise Pizza</h2>
<p>Auntie Anne&#8217;s inside Oceans of Fun will be converted to Paradise Pizza for 2019, offering a wide selection of menu options included on the <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/worlds-of-fun-dining-guide/">Worlds of Fun dining plan</a>. Pizza flavors include paradise pizza, featuring pineapple and ham, to traditional favorites like pepperoni.</p>
<h2>G’Rilla Burger</h2>
<p><a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/worlds-of-fun-dining-guide/world-of-fun-grilla-grill/">G’Rilla Grill</a> will now be serving hamburgers and hand-breaded chicken tenders for 2019. However, what many guests will be eyeing is the new G’Rilla Burger! This triple stacked cheeseburger will feature onion rings, cheddar cheese sauce, bacon, lettuce, special g’rilla sauce, American cheese and topped with a Worlds of Fun made dill pickle! </p>

<p>Remember the <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/worlds-of-fun-dining-guide/worlds-fun-food-truck/">Worlds of Fun Food Truck</a> we mentioned earlier, where a lot of spectacular menu items are crafted? New for 2019, guests will be able to order authentic Kansas City BBQ including pulled pork and brisket, with options available on <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/worlds-of-fun-dining-guide/">Worlds of Fun dining plan</a>.</p>
<h2>Beach Bites</h2>
<p>Located inside Oceans of Fun, the park will offer a variety of new specialty items for 2019. New menu items include the following:</p>
