<p>CLEVELAND, OHIO— Melt Bar &#038; Grilled, an Ohio favorite for gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, is proud to announce that it will be opening its ninth location at Ohio’s legendary amusement park Cedar Point in the summer of 2017.</p>
<p>“We’re absolutely ecstatic about launching at Cedar Point,” said Matt Fish, owner and founder of Melt Bar &#038; Grilled, “because we see visiting Melt like riding a roller coaster. There’s a lot of anticipation; then the thrill, and as soon as it’s over, you want to go again!”</p>
<p>The newest Melt location will be located at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, near Planet Snoopy in the former Joe Cool Café. This full-service location will feature a relaxing and eclectic environment, craft beer, signature cocktails and, of course, plenty of grilled cheese awesomeness.</p>
<p>“There’s no bigger attraction in Ohio than Cedar Point and we are seriously excited to be opening in time for Memorial Day Weekend,” continued Fish. “The Cedar Point and Melt experiences complement each other perfectly, and we can’t wait to serve their guests this summer!”</p>
<p>Melt Bar &#038; Grilled opened its first location in 2006 with a simple mission: To combine the best gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches with the biggest variety of quality craft beer in a cool and comfortable environment. Its over-the-top gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches have been profiled in USA Today, ESPN The Magazine, as well as on The Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives” and “The Best Thing I Ever Ate.”</p>
<p>“Melt Bar &#038; Grilled is a lot like Cedar Point,” said Tony Clark, Director of Communications for Cedar Point. “Melt has a huge number of fans who have been known to drive hours for the experience, just like ours do. This is going to be a terrific partnership… and a great ride!”</p>
<p>The Cedar Point Melt location will feature an exclusive menu item, the Firecracker Chicken, a red-hot combination of spicy fried chicken, sweet grilled pineapple, cool fresh avocado, and pepper jack cheese. This Cedar Point exclusive is the perfect summer grilled cheese sandwich and will pair perfectly with the Cedar Fair Fries, topped with delicious cheddar cheese sauce and crisp bacon crumble.</p>

<p>In addition to its famously decadent menu items, Melt’s full bar will offer a wide selection of cold craft beer, signature cocktails and a select wine list. A new, exclusive drink menu will feature several cocktails themed after famous past and present Cedar Point rides and attractions. Melt will be the only location at Cedar Point serving liquor in 2017.</p>
