<p>In honor of the new Orion roller coaster, Kings Island partnered with Sonder Brewing from Mason, Ohio to offer an exclusive Kings Island Giga Coaster Lager. </p>
<p>Now for the 2021 season, Sonder Brewing has released the next signature beer in the series. Presenting Blue Ice Cream Ale, crafted after the parks iconic treat. </p>
<p>The new blue ice cream ale offers aromas of blueberry and vanilla, the same flavors used in the ice cream. Chase Legler, Chief Operating Officer at Sonder Brewing, says, &#8220;the color was an exciting challenge as we knew we didn&#8217;t want to add any artificial ingredients or coloring to achieve a blue hue. We did a lot of research and testing to find natural product to get the color. Both balancing the ice cream flavor without being overly sweet and achieving the fun blue color were definitely the main challenges.&#8221; </p>
<p>The ale use a honey malt to help sweeten the beer.</p>
<p>Kings Island Blue Ice Cream Ale will be launching for sale starting May 15, 2021 at eight in park locations. In addition, the Sonder Brewing taproom will sell the ice cream ale starting May 17. A limited number of 4-packs will also be for sale at $12.99 each. </p>
