<p>Kings Dominion will debut a big transformation when the park opens for the 2022 season on March 12. In case you did not hear, the former Safari Village is being reimagined as Jungle X-Pedition. In addition to the transformed area, Kings Dominion will debut <a href="https://cpfoodblog.com/kings-dominion-announces-tumbili-2022-new-4d-freespin-roller-coaster/">Tumbili, the companies first 4D FreeSpin roller coaster</a>. </p>
<p>Created by S&#038;S, the 4D FreeSpin roller coaster will take riders along 770 feet of track to a height of 112 feet and with a top speed of 34 miles per hour.</p>
<p>Tumbili will reside on the site of the former Crypt Topspin.</p>
<p>As if that was not exciting enough, perhaps our favorite news of the entire area is Avalanche has completely been rehabilitated with all new paint, theme, and updated ride vehicles. Kings Dominion broke the news of the <a href="https://www.kingsdominion.com/blog/2022/1.24avalanche_retheme" rel="noopener" target="_blank">Avalanche to Reptilian transformation</a> on their blog.</p>
<h2>Kings Dominion Reptilian Bobsled Coaster</h2>
<p>Reptilian&#8217;s structure color package has been completely transformed with three shades of brown/tan. Support structures are a new tan color, track is a light brown, and accent pieces show a new darker brown color. </p>
<p>To compliment the structure, the fiberglass shells of the ride vehicles are getting completely transformed to represent their Reptilian roots.</p>
<p>Kings Dominion has very graciously provided some beautiful higher resolution concept art for the trains. Each of the new rethemed Reptilian cars seats up to two guests front-to-back. </p>
<p>As you can see in the new concept drawings, the trains will come in a blue, red/pink, and orange color arrangement.</p>

<p>What makes Reptilian so special to many, and the reason we find the news of it&#8217;s rehab exciting, is the Reptilian bobsled roller coaster is the last and only Mack Rides coaster left in the United States, with only four others remaining in the world. To see so much love being given to this classic 1988 roller coaster is such a great treat for everyone to enjoy at Kings Dominion.</p>
