<p><P><P><em>Welcome to our new interview series where bloggers share their insights on dining when at Cedar Point! Theresa and her family, from <a href="http://theresasmixednuts.com" target="_blank">Theresa’s Mixed Nuts</a>, recently visited the park as an official Cedar Point blogging partner, so we asked her to write us a review on their dining experience.</em> </p>
<p>My husband and I have been long time visitors of Cedar Point. As children, we would each go once a year with our parents, but when we became parents ourselves, we waited until our children were old enough to enjoy the park with us. We just took them on their first visit to Cedar Point in May, and they loved it! We will now be making annual visits with them, so the tradition can live on!</p>
<p>We do not like to bring food or drink into the park, because storing it is a bit of a hassle. We did take water bottles on our visit in May, but quickly disposed of them when we realized that the park is full of easy to access water fountains, and every food stand will give you a cup of water for free if you ask.</p>
<p>We did not take part in any of the meal plan options this time, but we will definitely consider it for future visits. We do not have any specific must have food items, or any particular place that we must dine because we like to keep things new and exciting by sampling from all of the vendors on spaced out visits. We usually budget about $100 for food for the family per day. The food portions are usually very generous, so we save money by sharing meals. My daughter and I will split a meal, and my husband and other daughter will do the same. </p>

<p>On our last visit, we were really excited to see that Pink&#8217;s Hot Dogs was available. They were not there the last time we had visited, and since my husband and I had never tried them before, it was a must this visit. We were not disappointed! The hot dogs were amazing, and we loved the little cut out display my kids were able to have their pictures taken with!</p>

<p>We also stopped for Auntie Anne’s Pretzels and Engine Company No. 3 ice cream parlor for a cool down on such a hot day. Everything we had was simply delicious! I honestly can not think of any additions that would make the dining experience better. Cedar Point really has the food options covered, there is something for everybody there!</p>
