<p>During Cedar Fair&#8217;s 2019 3rd quarter conference call, the Executive team mentioned that Castaway Bay started undergoing renovations last week. </p>
<p>Renovations at Castaway Bay will take place over several years in phases to minimize impacts to the guests. </p>
<p>At this time, the physical water park is not scheduled to be effected by remodeling efforts. </p>
<p>The first phase of renovations will include guest rooms, common areas and outside of the buildings. The first section that will be closed is the wing attached to the Quaker Steak restaurant. Those rooms will not be open and the inside access to Quaker Steak will not be open during the renovations. </p>
<p>Also of note in the conference call, Cedar Fair announced improvements to parking and ingress/egress to Cedar Point. In addition, additional food and beverage capacity, and guests will see expanded restrooms throughout the park in 2020. </p>
