<p><P><P>At today&#8217;s Winter Warmup event at Carowinds amusement park, put on by the American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE), a new dining event was announced. </p>
<p>&#8220;Taste of the Carolinas&#8221; will highlight food from the region prepared by Executive Chef Kris Siuta and his team. The event is scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays April 18 to May 17, 2015. The Taste of the Carolinas event will run from 11:00 am until one hour prior to park closing.</p>
<p>What is on the menu? The park will feature menu items from nine different regions of the Carolinas.</p>
<p>From the Outer Banks region, we will see:</p>
<p>&#8211; Blue Crab Ceviche<br />
&#8211; Fried Green Tomato Souffle with Bacon Scallion Ailoli<br />
&#8211; Hatteras Clam Chowder<br />
&#8211; Emerald Isle Cream Puff</p>
<p>From the Asheville/Mountains region, the menu will feature:</p>
<p>&#8211; Smoked Trout Rillette Flatbread<br />
&#8211; Looking Glass Creamery Cheese Plate<br />
&#8211; Mushroom Ravioli with Smoked Turkey &#038; Wild Herb Butter<br />
&#8211; Pecan Cinnamon Bread Pudding with Moonshine Cream Cheese Icing</p>
