Who does not like to save money at Cedar Point? Staying at a Cedar Point Resort property can eat into a large chunk of guests vacation budget. Cedar Point’s Express Hotel, located on the mainland and a short drive to the park, offers some of the cheapest rates out of all the properties. In addition, Cedar Point’s Express Hotel was completely remodeled and expanded in 2017.

While Express Hotel may be considered the value option, it also offers guests access to a pool, early entry hours to the parks, and discounted tickets.

Right now Cedar Point’s Express Hotel is listed on the discount site Groupon (affiliate link), so we are always curious to see if they are indeed offering the best promotion.

Groupon is offering a double queen room on select dates with rates starting at $77/night. So we randomly selected three dates on the calendar and did a comparison versus what is available directly on the Cedar Point website. Summary

There are two takeaways from this comparison.

1) Passholders still get the best option available for discounts on Cedar Point resorts. Be sure to enter promo code PASS to see the rate. Verification of season passholder status subject to review upon checking in.

2) If you are not a season passholder, the Groupon offer adds a great value to secure discounted rates versus rack.
