<p>As you might have heard by now, the African Safari Wildlife Park, located down the street from Cedar Point and a long standing attraction in the community, suffered from a devastating barn fire on Thanksgiving night that suffered the loss of 10 animals including 3 Giraffes, 3 Red River Hogs, a Springbok, and 2 Bongos. </p>
<p>As the pictures and details on the fire started coming in, our family felt a tremendous sense of loss for the community, as we love visiting the African Safari Wildlife Park and feeding the animals. </p>
<p>The African Safari Wildlife Park is now closed for the season, and we wondered how we could help from such a tragic loss.</p>
<p>As a result, we went through our prize closet and took everything we had out and created lots of items that we will give away in an auction format using Facebook. </p>
<p>All money raised from the auction will be donated to the <a href="https://www.africansafariwildlifepark.com/public/Giraffe_Conservation_Donation.cfm" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">African Safari Wildlife Park Giraffe Conservation Fund</a>. We will ship the prize lots on our own dime. </p>
<p>As of now we have nine lots of items, which we will reveal after each auction ends. </p>
<p>Bidding will take place on Facebook in the comments section. After we list an item on Facebook, guests will bid in $1 increments, with an opening bid of $1. </p>
<p>We will list an end time to each lot on the specific post. </p>
<p>Winning bidder will be required to send us the donation via Paypal within 24 hours, or we will go to the next highest bidder. </p>
<p>Rules subject to change at our own discretion.</p>
