Cedar Point fans are a very dedicated group of individuals that take their love of the park seriously. Most people likely assume riding the tallest and fastest roller coasters on the planet is best left to the younger generation. For the most part, those college age and younger are a large part of the park dynamic. However, if you take some time to people watch, you will quickly see there is a large range of people that enjoy love the park!

Everyone from families that stick to the Planet Snoopy area to those that jump from one roller coasters to the next, and to those that just sit and people watch or see shows while their family goes off and has a good time, there is something to see and do for everyone.

However, anytime you tell someone that your favorite place to go is Cedar Point, the tone of the conversation changes and all of a sudden the questions start to come.

7) You are getting to old for amusement parks!

Your parents told you for years it was time to grow up. Well, yes, it was time to grow up and get to the minimum height to be able to ride all of the attractions in the park. However, going to Cedar Point does not make you childish. You are never too old to experience Cedar Point.

6) You are going to Cedar Point? I haven’t been there in years!

Do your eyes tear up when you hear someone has not been to Cedar Point in years? Yeah, us too. What ever their reason is for not visiting the park in the last year, decade, etc., it is no excuse for the countless memories they missed out on while visiting the park.

5) What is there to do at Cedar Point?

Seriously? There are roller coasters, flat rides, funnel cakes, live entertainment shows, the beach…did we mention funnel cakes? Never mind. Just continue to tell them there is nothing to do at the parks, as it means more for all of us.

4) How do you wait in line ALL day?

You are a master of knowing when is the perfect time to avoid long lines, or you occasionally indulge in a Fast Lane pass. So while you will wait in some lines, you know ways around the mass crowds. However, these secrets may be better kept to yourself.

The fastest way to keep the lines down is to just confirm their suspicions and say you enjoy the long lines to people watch and find how many of the things you see that people should never do at Cedar Point.

3) Why do you know all of those useless roller coaster facts?

Do I complain or question your love of puppet making or scrapbooking? That is right. Do not question my motives. My posters of roller coasters make me just as happy as your boy band mural, so lets just call it even.

2) How do you eat all of that fried food?

All of us love to indulge in some great amusement park snacks, but we also know that to sustain our energy for the entire visit, we need a balanced diet. That is why you enjoy a side salad with your meal, chilled fresh fruit during the heat of the day, and even some frozen yogurt before leaving the park.
