<p>Today Cedar Point invited guests out for the annual Winter Chill Out event to tour the park during the off-season. see what is new for 2025 and raise money for A Kid Again. </p>
<p>This year $120,000 was raised off the $100 ticket price for charity, bringing the annual event total to over $800,000. </p>
<p>The first tours started at 8:30 am, where guests were given a variety of souvenir items to take home. Then we were ushered around the park to take in a variety of sites.</p>
<p>The first things guests will notice when they enter in the park for 2025 is the 150th sign will no longer be there. In its place will be a new sign stating Cedar Point Making People Happy Since 1870.</p>
<p>Throughout the park, Cedar Point will be installing new LED wall screens which will provide them an opportunity to see the map and other features going on throughout the park.</p>
<p>The first station guests were taken to was a display of the new Siren&#8217;s Curse coaster trains. While on-board lighting and sound are still being calibrated and designed, the park had it on display and these vehicles are going to look amazing! </p>

<p>Siren&#8217;s Curse will be a Fast Lane Plus attraction for those 48&#8243; or taller. Guests will be required to go through metal detectors to ride and lockers will be FREE! Siren&#8217;s Curse trains will feature a similar restrains to Top Thrill with no seat belts.</p>
<p>While Siren&#8217;s will not open till summer, Top Thrill 2 is on track to reopen May 3&#8230;with FREE lockers! </p>
<p>At the back of the park across from Gemini was the ever popular Happy Friar stand. The building has been razed during the off-season and a new building is under construction.</p>

<p>One of the favorite annual stops each year is to see the amazing work at the Sign Shop. We saw some new Barnyard photo ops being constructed and tons of great historic pieces. We also were greeted by some of the Barnyard animals, which is a delight anytime of year.</p>
<p>Guests were ushered past the now vacant plot of land where Snake River Falls used to be located. In addition, the park was holding a raffle to win the sign from the ride.</p>
<p>Throughout the day, guests were given trading cards at the various stops, including seeing construction of Siren&#8217;s Curse.</p>
<p>After a stop at the engine house, we were granted access to the first time to the food warehouse and pastry kitchen. While no photos were allowed it was awesome to finally see a piece of the operation.</p>
<p>The food and beverage warehouse is one of only loading docks at park, so they get most major deliveries for around park including rides. They operate 7 days a week with deliveries 6 days a week.</p>
<p>In 2025, the Cedar Point food warehouse handled $16 million in product. Coca-Cola makes up about $250,000 of that amount to service all the park drink stations. </p>
<p>Most locations get three deliveries a week, with other that have less storage, like Coasters, daily.</p>
<p>Each food location uses a computer ordering system for what they need, which is then sent to the warehouse, where they fill pallets for overnight delivery. Other items have to be run out on demand if a location is out of an item.</p>
<p>Grand Pavilion can get up to nine pallets of food three times a week since they have larger storage area and go through a lot of product.</p>
<p>Outside franchise locations typically can get their own deliveries, but paper products still come from the on-site warehouse.</p>
<p>The on-site pastry kitchen makes most of the items handmade. New this year they will be serving breakfast pastry.</p>
<p>In 2024, Cedar Point served up the following:<br />

3,000 Tiramisu</p>
<p>Pastry serves up 17 locations and makes cookies only at Sweet Spot since it&#8217;s a merch location.</p>
<p>The pastry kitchen is in its third season near Hotel Breakers. Staffing can be up to 27 people at peak season, with only 2 remaining year round.</p>
<p>We were also given a first look at the new 2025 entertainment lineup.</p>

<p>In other news, Famous Dave&#8217;s will be relocating out to the former location of Quaker Steak and Lube. There is no discussion on what is filling in the marina restaurant location.</p>
<p>Derby Dogs is promised to be open more in 2025.</p>
<p>Miss Keats may be changing but nothing announced.</p>
<p>Toot Sweets may have some alteration to menu.</p>
<p>Cedar Point (aka Six Flags) has yet to announce a new general manager for the park after Carrie retired at the end of 2024.</p>
