<p>Canada’s Wonderland opens to the public on May 8, kicking off four seasons of fun featuring world-class thrills, a full lineup of exciting events and entertainment for guests of all ages.</p>
<p>The park’s new record-breaking roller coaster AlpenFury is anticipated to open late spring and will feature a double-launch, with one propelling riders into Wonder Mountain, and another that blasts the train out the summit, 50 metres into the sky. The coaster will span 1,000 metres across the park, reaching speeds of 115 km/h, flipping and twisting through nine breathtaking inversions – the most of any launch coaster in the world.</p>
<p>“We’re excited to welcome guests back through the gate and usher in another season of thrills and family fun,” said Phil Liggett, general manager. “AlpenFury will be a great addition to our coaster lineup, providing a unique thrill experience you won’t find anywhere else. Our team is committed to ensuring guests have a great visit and we’re here to help them create memories that last a lifetime.”</p>

<p><strong>Splash Works Opening Weekend (May 24-25)</strong><br />
Jump back into poolside fun at our 20-acre water park featuring Canada’s largest outdoor wave pool, 18 water attractions, exhilarating cliff jumping, water playgrounds, kiddie slides and a Lazy River!</p>
<p>Things heat up with our SUMMERBRATION events!</p>
<p><strong>Long Weekend Fireworks</strong> (May 18, June 30, Aug. 3, Aug. 31)</p>
<p>Witness more than 6,000 colourful fireworks choreographed to a special soundtrack. Shows take place at 10 p.m. once park closes on select dates.</p>
<p><strong>Food &#038; Wine Festival (Jun. 6-22, Fri-Sun)</strong><br />
Returning for its second year, this event features a wide assortment of exceptional wines from around the world and specially prepared culinary delights. Make it a date night with live music and games.</p>
<p><strong>Celebration Canada</strong> (Jun. 27-Jul. 13, Select Days)<br />
Join us for Canada&#8217;s birthday celebration, showcasing live music, authentic Canadian food, street performers, and more!</p>
<p><strong>KidZfest</strong> (Jul. 19-Aug. 3)<br />
This is the ultimate event for family-friendly summer fun! Join in on the exciting dance parties, meet n’ greet with popular TV characters, feast on delicious treats, enjoy our kid-friendly rides, and check out our interactive games and activities.</p>
<p><strong>The Great BrewBQ</strong>—NEW! (Aug. 9-24, Sat-Sun)<br />
Get ready for a sizzling selection of BBQ-inspired dishes paired with the best in local Ontario craft beer, cider, and specialty cocktails. Groove to live music, experience exciting entertainment and take part in fun activities for all ages. Camp Spooky returns to Canada&#8217;s Wonderland this fall with family-friendly daytime Halloween activities and attractions every weekend.</p>
