Season passes will once again get a major overhaul for the 2024 season, so lets take a deep dive into all the new details.

For starters, the long standing Platinum season pass is going away (at least at most parks), which offered its signature benefit of access to all of the Cedar Fair properties. For the 2024 Season, the Platinum Pass, is only available for purchase at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels or Schlitterbahn Galveston. Now guests at all other Cedar Fair properties will have the option of purchasing an add-on to the Gold (or Prestige pass) that gets them into all the other parks.

Platinum Passholders are entitled to the same benefits offered to Gold Passholders with the All Park Passport add-on at all Cedar Fair parks where offered.

This means Prestige+ pass is also going away. For 2024, the Prestige Pass will only be available at Carowinds, Cedar Point, and Kings Island, plus newly added Canada’s Wonderland, Kings Dominion, Knott’s Berry Farm. Remember, in 2023 Prestige Pass was only available at Carowinds, Cedar Point and Kings Island.

The big difference for 2024 is Cedar Fair is allowing two tiers of pass to purchase a separate All Park Passport to be added to Gold or Prestige passes.

The All Park Passport is $100 with the purchase of a 2024 Gold Pass and $125 with the purchase of a 2024 Prestige Pass. Any for guests that purchase the All Park Passport, add-ons like dining plans will work at all parks.

2024 Cedar Fair Season Pass News

2024 season passes are good for the remainder of 2023. Typically add-ons are not valid in the current year.

First lets start with the Gold pass.

Some of the key highlights are as follows:

– Gold pass parking is only valid at the park of purchase (California’s Great America, Carowinds, Cedar Point, Dorney Park, Kings Dominion, Kings Island, Michigan’s Adventure, Valleyfair, Worlds of Fun).
– Gold pass does not include parking at Canada’s Wonderland or Knott’s Berry Farm.
– A Gold or Prestige Pass with the All Park Passport add-on is valid for free parking at all parks.
