<p>We are going to come right out and say it at the top of this article. When Cedar Point offered <a href="https://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/cedar-point-food/gristmill-wild-eats/">Gristmill Wild Eats</a>, prior to <a href="https://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/cedar-point-food/wild-turnip/">Wild Turnip</a>, the Beyond Sausage veggie foldover was single handedly one of the best dining plan options ever offered in the park. </p>
<p>The foldover featured Beyond Sausage, red onion, tomatoes, spinach, and balsamic vinegar. This vegetarian/vegan menu item was our go-to meal almost EVERY visit, and it was a big disappointment when it was rebranded as Wild Turnip and the menu changed. </p>

<p>Luckily, Wild Turnip offered a decent variety of menu options to appease vegetarians, vegans, and those with gluten-free requests. The sweet potato tots were so amazingly perfect, we would LOVE to see these offered somewhere else in the park.</p>
<p>Fast forward to 2023, and there is a big consolidation of staffing to high capacity restaurants, and as a result, the Wild Turnip is permanently closed. While there is always a need for these type of menu options, the big reality is staffing levels caused the park to open Wild Turnip typically last, and the demand did not warrant keeping it open. In addition with the high costs and short shelf life of specialty menu items like Beyond &#8220;meat&#8221; products and produce, the park needs to move enough product to make it a worth while venture. Obviously that did not happen.</p>
<p>While we had hopes that the menu options would be rolled out into other establishments around the park, that has not happened and vegetarian/vegan options are extremely limited. So lets take a walk around the park and see what options are available. </p>
<h2>2023 Cedar Point Vegetarian &#038; Vegan Menu Options</h2>
<p><em>Note: We recommend ALWAYS asking those serving the food to make sure what you are getting meets your specific dietary restrictions. Recipes are always subject to change, so ASK QUESTIONS.</em></p>
<p>Please refer to the <a href="https://cpfoodblog.com/2023-cedar-point-dining-plan-menus/">2023 Cedar Point dining plan list</a> to see what options are available with the specific meal plans. <em>Note: BackBeatQue, Farmhouse, Grand Pavilion, Crystal Rock Cafe typically let gets get 2 sides + 1 side in lieu of the normal 1 entrée + 1 side.</em></p>
<p>The below list only covers menu items included on a specific dining plan (All-Season, Premium All-Day, etc.). There will be other menu items like funnel cakes, etc. that also meet vegetarian/vegan requirements that guests will want to confirm prior to ordering.</p>
