Last weekend California’s Great America held Dia del Niño, a Latin American celebration translating to Day of the Kid. Now for Cinco de Mayo, California’s Great America will celebrate with a two day event Saturday and Sunday.

Throughout the park guests will be decorations aplenty, live entertainment, and of course specialty food and beverage!

For Cinco de Mayo, California’s Great America will be offering five special dishes:

· Petite Chili Relleno- $6.99

· Chile Colorado Sopapilla- $6.99

· Mangonada funnel cake (mango sauce, sliced mango, vanilla ice cream, chamoy, and tajin)- $11.99

In addition, the Cinco de Mayo celebration will include eight different michelada drinks that were submitted by guests, offering different twists on this traditional Hispanic drink. Guests can purchase an eight drink tasting card for $30 at the event.

In addition to the funnel cake, California’s Great America will also offer exclusively this weekend, the Margarita Churro! Features sugar, lime zest, margarita lime curd, and a sprinkle of sea salt!
