New for 2018, Kings Island will hold the official National Blue Ice Cream Day on Sunday, July 1.
The iconic blue ice cream has been a guest favorite since first being introduced in 1982 along with the Smurf’s Enchanted Voyage.
So it is fitting that an entire day will be dedicated to blueberry with specialty menu items available only on Blue Ice Cream Day.
Turkey Legs (International Street)
– Smoked Chicken Wings with Blueberry BBQ Sauce- $8.99
– Tortilla Chips with Blueberry Salsa- $6.99
International Street Funnel Cakes
– Blue Funnel Cake with Blueberry Topping- $9.99
A special blueberry salsa is available exclusively for #NationalBlueIceCreamDay at Hank’s.
Sweet Spot also offered a variety of limited time special blue ice cream themed treats.
– Blue Ice Cream Fudge
– Blue Ice Cream Cotton Candy- $2.99
– Mini Blue Ice Cream Fudge Cones- 1 for $1, 2 for $1.50
Guests could also get their picture taken in a special blue ice cream photo op display.
