<p><P><P>Over the past couple of years, Cedar Fair has used the Brew &#038; BBQ event at several of their amusement parks. Each of the parks bring in local craft breweries, pair them with chef inspired barbecue, live entertainment, and round out an an already amazing day at the parks. </p>
<p>We have been to our share of Brew &#038; BBQ events, and without question, some of the best food is coming out of Canada&#8217;s Wonderland! Executive Chef, Dilup Attygalla, is an absolute incredible cook and throughout all of Canada&#8217;s Wonderland, guests can experience some amazing food they will not find at any other amusement parks. </p>
<p>We attended the <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/review-canadas-wonderland-brew-bbq/">2016 Canada&#8217;s Wonderland Brew &#038; BBQ</a> and experienced the best of the best, and are extremely excited to see the event returning for 2017.</p>
<p>Guests can experience the Canada&#8217;s Wonderland Brew &#038; BBQ June 24-25, 2017 from 12:00-8:00 pm in the Action Zone.</p>

<p>Admission to the Brew &#038; BBQ Festival is FREE with your park ticket. While you can enjoy the entertainment and atmosphere for free, food and beverage are an additional cost via a token system.</p>
<p>For 2017, Canada&#8217;s Wonderland switched the portion sizes of the meals up. In 2016, each dish was a complete meal unto itself. For 2017, guests are encouraged to buy a $25 Passport with five (5) tasting size portions. Guests are also able to purchase individual meal items for 7 tokens each. </p>

<p><strong>BBQ Pork Belly</strong> (with Old Cheddar Cheese, Grilled Onions &#038; Mushrooms on a Glossy Bun)</p>

<p>This dish alone was absolutely one of the most incredible meals we had ever eaten at Canada&#8217;s Wonderland in 2016. The sandwich was amazing with an array of flavors and the bun was solid at holding it all together to every last bite.</p>
<p>For 2017, the slider version was good, but not as good as that last year. The smaller size made it difficult to get all of the ingredients together to bring out all of the flavors. Our sandwiches either had too much mushroom, or not enough of the really good sauce. They were still great, just not as memorable as years prior.</p>
<p><strong>BBQ Smoked Beef Brisket</strong> (served on crusty bun with cole slaw, crisp onions, and a side of potato chips)</p>

<p>For the second year in a row, this sandwich was a complete miss and our least favorite. The onions overpower the sandwich and make it very salty. The meat really needs some BBQ sauce or something sweet to counteract the saltiness.</p>

<p>The ribs and wings combo continues to be a big hit, offering a lot of flavor and paired as a complete meal in itself with the sides. </p>
<p><strong>BBQ Chicken Skewer</strong> (served with corn on the cob, red skin mashed potatoes, and cole slaw)</p>

<p>The new chicken skewers were a huge hit, packing some really tender chicken with a nice BBQ sauce that were freshly grilled. Again the chicken was paired with nice side options to make it very satisfying.</p>
<p><strong>Mini Wonderland Sausage Slider</strong> (served with chips)</p>

<p>The little sausage slider was a surprise hit of Brew &#038; BBQ. The spicy sausage was really great and offered a nice, crisp skin. Our only suggestion was portion size. Looking at the rest of the menu options, they were much more ample than that of the sausage slider. This is one menu option where the whole sausage should have been offered or give more side options. </p>
<h2>Summary</h2>
<p>Once again we loved attending the Canada&#8217;s Wonderland Brew &#038; BBQ! The weather was ideal during our visit, making a long day in the park more bearable. The food and atmosphere was also great. </p>
<p>It should be noted that Canada&#8217;s Wonderland just received approval that alcohol could now be carried anywhere in the park. In the past, guests were restricted to drinking the beer from the event in designated areas only. </p>
<p>Canada&#8217;s Wonderland should also now consider expanding Brew &#038; BBQ beyond one weekend. During our visit, the park and event were PACKED. Perhaps adding an additional weekend would be beneficial and provide backup should weather be an issue.</p>
