Julie writes in and asks what vegan options are available at Cedar Point?
Veganism is both the practice of abstaining from the use of animal products, particularly in diet, and an associated philosophy that rejects the commodity status of animals. A follower of either the diet or the philosophy is known as a vegan (pronounced VEE-gən). (Source: Wikipedia)
The following items are currently available throughout the Cedar Point property to meet vegan diet requirements. Always be sure to inform your server before ordering of your specific dietary requirements.

Most quick service locations use a soybean based oil for their french fries with the exception of fresh cut fry stands: Mr. Potato, Hot Potato, or Happy Friar, Coaster’s Drive-In, Raging River and Boardwalk Fry Carts (located next to Coasters Drive-In). The before listed locations use Sysco Classic – fully refined peanut oil, TBHQ and citric acid added to help preserve freshness, dimethypolysiloxane, and anti-foam agent added. All french fries are fried in dedicated fryers.
