New for 2019, Worlds of Fun has added their own smokers, rotisseries and grills at their signature restaurant, Cotton Blossom Bar-B-Que.

Located in the Americana section of the park, the Cotton Blossom BBQ restaurant slow smokes their pork butts for 12 hours to get the perfect shredded consistency and smokey flavor.

We used our World of Fun dining plan to try the new smoked pulled pork, which includes one side and sliced white bread.

We found this pulled pork very similar to that offered in previous years from the Ocean’s of Fun Food truck and Battle Creek BBQ, although we found this serving more tender.

The Cotton Blossom BBQ also offers three signature sauces, a Kansas City Original, a Sweet & Mellow, and Spicy.

We elected to get the smoked pulled pork with the waffle fries on our first visit, which had nice flavoring and paired well considering we topped each one with the pork.

Our only suggestion at this time is we would like to see the pulled pork served with a nice hearty bun that will hold it all together, like a brioche.
