Whenever our family visits the Anaheim/Buena Park area to visit Knott’s Berry Farm (and Disneyland), our go to hotel has been the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel for a number of years. The hotel is conveniently located adjacent to the amusement park and Marketplace shops, making it super easy to walk everywhere you need. The hotel is also in close enough proximity for an easy drive to Disneyland, or you can use the hotel provided shuttle.
On a recent trip to Knott’s Berry Farm, we elected to upgrade our stay to the Camp Snoopy rooms located on the second floor of the hotel.
Camp Snoopy rooms feature double queen beds and are very similar in style to your standard 300 square foot rooms with two queen-size beds, cable television, wireless internet, an in-room safe, coffee, and coffee maker, iron, and ironing board. However, Camp Snoopy rooms feature Snoopy & Woodstock headboards and decorations. In addition, each rooms includes two Snoopy plush and between 8:00 PM and 8:30 PM, Snoopy personally visits your room to tuck you into bed.
The trip to your room starts down a decorated hallway filled with various Peanuts character scenes.
Once inside your Camp Snoopy room, the standard bathrooms arrangement includes Knott’s Hotel branded toiletries, including soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. We would really love to see the park tap into their boysenberry roots at the hotel, by including a specialty line of toiletries that feature boysenberry scents.
As a terrific added touch, the Camp Snoopy rooms include two complimentary Snoopy plush wearing a Knott’s Berry Farm shirt. Super cute and soft!
Rooms also include a standard desk convenient for working, and a dresser with flat screen television. Coffee maker also included in room.
Of course the best part about staying in a Camp Snoopy room at the Knott’s Hotel is that Snoopy personally comes to tuck you into bed each night between 8-8:30 pm. Imagine your kids surprise when there is a knock at the door, and the big dog himself is there at the door. After some quick pictures, he tucks each of the kids into bed and gives them a dog kiss goodnight. It is worth every penny!
If you do not book the Camp Snoopy rooms, guests can visit with Snoopy each day at the Amber Waves restaurant, and then proceeds to the hotel lobby if time permits at the following times.
9:00 to 9:25 am
6:00 to 6:30 pm
7:00 to 7:30 pm
