<p><P><P>We have our favorite menu item at each of the Cedar Fair parks. For example, Worlds of Fun is putting out an amazing array of <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/review-worlds-of-fun-food-truck/">fresh tacos and burrito</a>. The Kings Island is creating the most <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/review-kings-island-chicken-shack-hand-breaded-tenders/">delicious handmade chicken tenders</a>. Then there is Knott&#8217;s Berry Farm and the iconic boysenberry that blesses anything it touches. </p>
<p>Kings Dominion has some really great menu items throughout the park. However, one place we find ourselves returning trip after trip is the <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/park-food-guides/kings-dominion-food/kings-dominion-border-cafe/">Border Cafe</a>, which is located immediately as you enter International Street to the left of the fountain. The counter service restaurant is similar in format to your typical Chipotle Mexican cafe. You approach the counter and tell them which meal you would like (burrito, taco salad, etc.). From there you begin down the magical journey to choose the meat and toppings you would like in your fresh Mexican fare.</p>

<p><a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/160330-Kings-Dominion-Border-Cafe-Toppings-2.jpg" rel="attachment wp-att-7823"><img src="http://cpfoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/160330-Kings-Dominion-Border-Cafe-Toppings-2.jpg" alt="160330 Kings Dominion Border Cafe Toppings (2)" width="1154" height="768" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7823" /></a></p>
<p>Border Cafe is also part of the <a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/2016-kings-dominion-dining-plans/">2016 Kings Dominion dining plans</a>.</p>
<p><strong>Taco Salad</strong></p>
<p>By far our favorite meal from the Border Cafe is the Taco Salad. The nice, crunchy shell pairs very nice with variety of meat, fresh veggies, salsa, and assorted toppings. The meal is also large enough to share, making it an exceptional value.</p>
<p><a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/160330-Kings-Dominion-Border-Cafe-Taco-Salad.jpg" rel="attachment wp-att-7825"><img src="http://cpfoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/160330-Kings-Dominion-Border-Cafe-Taco-Salad.jpg" alt="160330 Kings Dominion Border Cafe Taco Salad" width="1154" height="768" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7825" /></a></p>
<p><strong>3 Tacos</strong></p>
<p>Having little kids with us means feeding a lot of mouths on an economical budget. That is why we love the three taco option at Border Cafe. Guests can choose between soft or hard shells, and the same large variety of filling options. Plus using two of our meal plans means all three of our kids get 2 tacos each, which is more than enough food to keep them energized for Planet Snoopy.</p>
<p><a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/160402-Kings-Dominion-Border-Cafe-3-Tacos.jpg" rel="attachment wp-att-7826"><img src="http://cpfoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/160402-Kings-Dominion-Border-Cafe-3-Tacos.jpg" alt="160402 Kings Dominion Border Cafe 3 Tacos" width="576" height="768" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7826" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Burrito</strong></p>
<p>One of the most filling meals one can get is the burrito as big as your head concept. Border Cafe takes an oversized soft burrito shell and stuffs it to the brink of explosion with everything from rice, beans, meat, salsas, and all kinds of other toppings. You will not walk away needing anything else to eat for hours. The burrito also make it nice for sharing.</p>
<p><a href="http://cpfoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/160330-Kings-Dominion-Border-Cafe-Burrito.jpg" rel="attachment wp-att-7824"><img src="http://cpfoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/160330-Kings-Dominion-Border-Cafe-Burrito.jpg" alt="160330 Kings Dominion Border Cafe Burrito" width="1154" height="768" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7824" /></a></p>
<p>After a recent trip to the Kings Dominion Border Cafe, even hours later we were again craving the food from this food stand. There is a reason the line is always out the door. From great food to good portion sizes, the Border Cafe remains one of our top picks when eating at Kings Dominion. </p>
