In 2015, Cedar Point graced us all with a new partnership with local craft brewery, The Brew Kettle, out of Strongsville, Ohio to sell a signature beer, RougaBrew, named after the conversion of the Mantis roller coaster to Rougarou. We loved RougaBrew and thought it was a fantastic lineup for the park.
Not to be outdone, Cedar Point followed up the partnership by giving us 3 new signature Cedar Point Halloweekends beers, Slaughter House Irish Red Ale, Frontier Trail Ale, and C.P. & L.E. Railroad Iron Horse Porter.
With the introduction of Valravn in 2016, Cedar Point introduced their boldest Brew Kettle brew yet, the Valravn Red/Black IPA.
The new craft beer features real blood orange for a tart citrus zing with a hint of real mango for a tropical twist. Shandy Shores is 4.5% ABV, 10 IBUs.
Shandy Shores is available on draft in both Brew Kettle restaurants in Strongsville and Amherst. In addition, guests will be able to enjoy Shandy Shores at Cedar Point starting this Saturday for park opening.
Within the next couple of weeks, the Brew Kettle will offer a “Thrill Pack” featuring all 6 of the Cedar Point signature beers. You will be able to get them at the Cedar Point marina store and camp store, as well as select groceries around northern Ohio for $11.99.
Starting around Memorial Day weekend, guests will be able to take home from retailers 6-packs of Shandy Shores for $10.99.
We have always been big fans of RougaBrew. However, the new Shandy Shores reigns supreme out of all the Cedar Point beers! Shandy Shores is a lighter beer which is perfect for summer and the new Cedar Point Shores waterpark.
Grab your beach chair, an umbrella, and a Shandy Shores because our summer of FUN is here!
