Sure some people can prepare a sweet five course meal, but who does not love a quick and easy meal? In fact, it is so easy, your father who has not cooked in years could pull this one off. As if easy was not enticing enough, this dish is bathed in alcohol and once cooked, could be used a wide variety of uses.

To make the dish even easier, it can be prepared in a CrockPot and only requires three ingredients.

Ingredients

– Chuck Roast (or preferred cut of meat)
– Not Your Father’s Root Beer
– Knott’s Berry Market Boysenberry BBQ Sauce

Simply combine all of the ingredients together and cook on Low or High depending on your time constraints.

We used an entire can of Root Beer with a 2.3 lb chuck roast and about a third bottle of BBQ sauce. After cooking for about six hours, the meat was perfectly shredded and the sauce had melded together in flavors.

We served ours on slider buns as well as used the shredded beef on nachos with a corn salsa and sour cream.

The Knott Your Father’s Shredded Beef was a HUGE success with rave reviews! The meat took to the flavors nicely packing a terrific flavor.
